SEEDS 2023

Overview

Welcome everyone to SEEDS 2023 Program! We are very excited to start this year's program with a blast. Let's take a look how this SEEDS 2023 is bigger & better than our past runs:
  • This year, around 100+ girls enrolled, out of whom 52 girls got admitted to the program, making 13 teams of 4 girls each.
  • We believe in "Unity in Diversity". Our diverse and prestigious program, welcomed talented girls from 30+ renowned universities in the USA and abroad. Our participants represent universities such as MIT, Princeton, Cornell, University of California, Berkeley, Duke University, Columbia University, University of Washington, and more.  Join us and be a part of this extraordinary community!

Prompts

Prompts for this year's program focus on addressing common student challenges:
  1. Mental Health: Create an app to help students manage stress, access resources, and connect with peer support.
  2. Food: Develop an app to provide easy access to nutritious meals for busy students, including meal planning, swipes exchange, and dining hall information.
  3. Scheduler: Design an app to optimize time management for students, featuring a centralized calendar, reminders, time blocking, and task management.
  4. Transportation: Build an app to enhance transportation options in smaller college towns, offering ride-sharing, public transportation information, carpooling, and campus shuttle tracking.
Choose a prompt and create a socially useful app to make a positive impact on your fellow students' lives!
